E911 receives call regarding dispute
At 3:28 AM on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025, E911 received a call from a female at the stayAPTS Suites, an extended stay motel located at 2551 McIntosh Parkway in Newnan. The female stated she’d come to the location to retrieve her child and the child’s father was giving her issues.
Newnan Police Department units were dispatched to the location for a dispute. As they were responding to the location, the female caller stated she’d gotten the child and no longer wanted a response, however the call taker could hear continued arguing in the background and NPD units continued to the location.
NPD units would arrive at the location within a few minutes of being dispatched, locating the female caller, child and child’s father.
Hell of a wake up call for other guest
At 3:34 AM, E911 received a commercial fire alarm for the stayAPTS Suites, causing multiple Newnan Fire Department units to be dispatched to the location. E911 Dispatch, realizing that multiple Newnan Police Department units had just arrived on scene for a dispute asked those units if they heard an audible alarm and if there was a fire at the location.
NPD units on scene confirmed the audible alarm and confirmed there was no fire danger, that someone had pulled a fire alarm causing the alarm notification. NFD units would arrive on scene before being dismissed due to there being no actual emergency.
According to the narrative from the NPD units that responded to the call, shortly after arriving on scene they made contact with the female caller who explained that she had been having and argument with ther baby’s father. They were than pulled aside by the manager of the location who stated that during her argument the female suspect had pulled the fire alarm. The manager provided CCTV footage showing the suspect deliberately pulling the fire alarm as she exited the building.
When questioned by officers regarding the fire alarm the suspect, Sarah Ashley Cuttle, 38, of Tyrone, admitted to pulling the alarm because she ” wanted to get someone’s attention, ” and knowing there was not actual emergency.
Due to her admission, Cuttle was arrested and transported to the Coweta County Jail.
At the request of management, Cuttle and two of her friends she’d brought to the location, Ciara Rentz and Victoria Abney, were criminally trespassed from the location.

Sarah Ashley Cuttle, 38, of Tyrone was arrested and booked into the Coweta County Jail on the following charge:
- Transmitting a False Public Alarm (1st Offense) (M)
Booking records indicate Cuttle remained in the Coweta County Jail until August 3rd, 2025 when she posted a $1150 bond and was released.
