Victim Robbed
On May 30th, 2025, at around 11:30 AM, a local woman was shopping at the Publix Grocery Store at 1111 Lower Fayetteville Rd in Newnan. By the end of her shopping trip she would notice that her wallet was missing from her purse and requested that Publix staff review surveillance video after reporting having had a strange interaction with at least one male while shopping.
According to the report, surveillance video showed that while shopping she was approached by a black male in his 50’s that stopped her by the “meat lockers” and began speaking with her. As she continued to walk around the store, she noticed the male was following her with the victim stating that while in the freezer section the asked her to grab something for him from one of the freezers.
While she was turned with her back to the male, video shows that the mail removed her wallet from her purse and stuck it under his shirt before immediately leaving the store.
The victim received a text from her bank a short time later stating that her debit card had been used at Target on Bullsboro Dr for $440 at 11:56 AM.
Investigators were able to identify two suspects involved in the Robbery and they were arrested and booked into the Coweta County Jail.

Keith Kenneth Stone, 62, of Atlanta was arrested by officers with the Newnan Police Department and booked into the Coweta County Jail for the following charge(s).

- Financial Transaction Card Fraud (F)
- Identity Theft Fraud When Using/Possessing Identifying Infon (F)
Stone is currently being held at the Coweta County jail without Bond.
Darryl Wayne Tolbert Sr, 57
Darryl Wayne Tolbert Sr, 57, of Atlanta was arrested by officers with the Newnan Police Department and booked into the Coweta County Jail for the following charge(s).

- Financial Transaction Card Fraud (F)
- Identity Theft Fraud When Using/Possessing Identifying Infon (F)
Tolbert is currently being held at the Coweta County jail without Bond.
